SHARON TURNS 50- KAT DOES NOT! September is Birthday month for Kat, however Kat's friend SHARON (one of Our Very, Very Senior Halloween Judges), WHOM turns 50 in January many,many, many, years before Kat. Sharon has decided to celebrate her BIG 50th birthday during the September weekend of 28-30 four months early. Kat will spend the weekend in Virginia celebrating with her very old (aproaching senior citizen) friend and assisting in her friends geriatric needs.

Royal Ballet principal Johan Kobborg performs for audiences across the globe excelling in ballets from Bournonville to Balanchine-making him the perfect choice for Pointe Magazines August/September cover. Kobborg began dancing at the late age of 16 and became an apprentice with Royal Danish Ballet a year later, joining London's Royal Ballet in 1999. He will perform a new pas de deux choreographed for Christopher Weeldon's company from September 18-23 at Sadler's Wells in London and Afternoon of a Faun September 29-30 at City Center in New York City. Unless you're really burning for it, it's too hard a profession and you probably won't end up being very happy. If you haven't yet heard the name Natalia Osipova, rest assured that you soon will, and no doubt, will hear her name repeated in awed tones in the years to come. 21 year-old Osipova is the new rising star of the Bolshoi Ballet and is wowing audiences with the fantastically impressive energy and exuberance she brings to her roles. This is a dancer with a huge future ahead of her.
